2008年8月19日，美国环保署(EPA)发布了关于杀虫剂噻吩磺隆(Thifensulfuron Methyl)许可限量的最终法规。
本法规规定以下作物内/表噻吩磺隆(Thifensulfuron Methyl，methyl-3-[[[[ (4-methoxy-6-methyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)amino]carbonyl]amino]sulfonyl]-2-thiophenecarboxylate,)的残留许可限量：大麦干草：0.8 ppm; 燕麦草料：0.2 ppm; 燕麦干草：0.05 ppm; 小麦草料：2.5 ppm及小麦干草：0.7 ppm。
